Johnson finds limits on property tax increases humorous.

In a recent interview with WKBT television, Tara Johnson – Padesky was clear that she opposes state caps on how much local government can raise property taxes. We here at Johnson Watch do not find being taxed out of your home to be a “laughing” matter

Thanks for posting this - very helpful. Now I know how she thinks - she actually thinks that the way our state handles money is a joke.
I needed to be convinced, and this did it. I was going to vote for you, but now I'm for Johnson.

First, we (those behind Johnson Watch) are NOT running for office.

Second, Tara Johnson - Padesky failed to address: that it is Governor Doyle (a Democrat) that modified the budget with the veto pen.

Third, she was clear she opposes the cap, and would prefer to give local government uncontroled spending and tax increases.

Tara Johnson - Padesky attacks those in Madison, but offers no REAL solution on how to solve the problem. All her statement does is call her fellow Democrats, the Governor, and Republicans, all people she would need to work with if she won, hypocrites. Good way to reach across the aisle.
