Tara Johnson – Padesky claims, "she'll force oil companies to pay their fair share in taxes." The problem is, Johnson doesn't understand how business works.
Increasing taxes on oil companies will increase their costs, and businesses must pass all costs onto the consumer to stay profitable, so you and I will pay Johnson's tough tax at the pump.

Actually, the other states that have raised the oil franchise fee have not seen gas prices go up.
